The experience behind the work.

Dan Lee, founder of Locke Operations
Who's behind it

Dan Lee runs Locke. Twenty years across three fields that rarely sit in one person: operations, management consulting, and technology.

He has shipped software that ran on more than 60 million devices and led engineering teams of fifty. He built and automated the back-office paperwork inside a regulated, HIPAA-bound industry, cutting the manual handling and the errors that came with it. He has worked across the table from owners and C-suite leaders at Fortune 500 and private-equity-backed firms, finding where the hours and the margin leak. He holds a US patent.

The back-office work that eats your team, forms, approvals, numbers retyped between systems, is exactly the kind of work he has spent his career taking apart.

That combination is the point. Most automation just makes your current workflow run faster, including the parts that are broken. Locke looks at the workflow first. Often the bigger win is fixing the process, then automating it. Usually it is both.

He spent years building this kind of automation for big companies. What is new is that it now costs little enough for a business your size to have the same thing.

You work with Dan directly, not an account manager who hands you to a junior. When a job needs more hands, he brings in vetted specialists he has worked with before. The work lives in playbooks, not in one person's head.
